2nd A&PD Symposium - registration form & further information

A&PD Symposium - registration form & further information
Dear Colleagues,

We would like to draw your attention to a full day symposium (program attached) at the BMRI. The morning session focuses on novel technologies (mass spectrometry, ENU mutagenesis, miRNA regulation, lentiviral approaches, low-density neuronal cultures, synchrotron X-ray microscopy, asf) with a disease angle, whereas in the afternoon the program focuses more on pathomechanisms in AD, PD and MSA.

The keynote lecture is given by Prof. Przybylski from the University of Constance (Germany).

Professor Przybylski is a world expert in mass spectrometry (such as LA-ICPMS and MALDI-FTICR-MS). He is the recipient of many prestigious awards (including a Dr. honoris causa from the University of Iasi), authored more than 260 publications, owns 20 patents and is on the editorial board of six international journals. Michael Przybylski is Chairman of the German Society for Mass Spectrometry since 1998 and Guest Professor of the Chinese Academy of Sciences since 2000. Prof. Przybylski picture

The other 18 speakers of the A&PD symposium are from the University of New South Wales, the University of Melbourne, the CMRI, the Garvan Institute, James Cook University and the University of Sydney.

Please distribute the program at your institutions as participants (excluding the speakers) need to register for catering purposes. The symposium is free of charge.

Looking forward to welcoming you,
kind regards,

Jürgen Götz and Lars Ittner
