Opportunities

Our group members are from a diverse scientific background and include organic chemists, radiochemists, biologists, neuroscientists and pharmacologists. Students with a keen interest in any of these fields should contact A/Prof Kassiou to discuss undertaking future study within the group. Potential areas of research include drug discovery and development, medicinal and synthetic chemistry, radiochemistry and functional imaging as well as animal studies in neuroprotection and behaviour.

Our students are encouraged to be active within the international scientific community and are given the opportunity to attend national and international conferences and collaborate with research groups both in Australia and abroad.
