The BMRI is currently seeking a Research Assistant to assist with a multi-centre study investigating the baseline prevalence and cumulative incidence of insulin resistance, metabolic syndrome and cardiovascular risk factors in young adults with psychosis. This role will see you assess the physical health of young patients in a cutting-edge area of study in a part-time capacity of 20 hours per week. Do you have tertiary qualifications in health, behavioural/social sciences, or education and/or business/management? Do you have experience in the management of a health or community service, and experience in complex program management, including planning of programs, identifying goals, associated tasks and timelines, implementation, monitoring and evaluation?
CSGPN is very excited to be recruiting the headspace Clinical Services & Integration Manager (CSIM) to lead the development of a new concept in delivery of integrated primary mental health services to young people. The CSIM will work with a project team to establish a number of "one stop shop" co-located and integrated youth focussed centres, staffed by local clinicians and backed by a consortium of health and community service providers.
Full-time and fixed term to June 2009. Remuneration package of $90-110,000 depending on experience and qualifications will be negotiated.

Postdoctoral Fellow in Statistical Computing

Fixed Term- 1 year full-time
Salary Range: $54,252 - $65,467 pa plus 17% super
The Centre for Mental Health Research invites applications for the position of Postdoctoral Fellow (Level A). The successful applicant will be expected to have a good understanding of statistical analysis and modelling, knowledge of mental health constructs. He or she must be able to undertake statistical analysis of research data and to contribute to the subsequent writing of manuscripts for publications. Applicants with interests in mental health, a background in methodology, knowledge of the analysis of longitudinal data or clinical trials are invited to apply.
Appointment will be for fixed-term of one year, with the possibility of extension, subject to availability of funding.
